Change of plans, I did not realize this was the same weekend as the show in Winslow, prior commitment to go there, but I might change those plans as well

Wont be doing that show again. Very dissorganized. the cars were scattered all over and not within their class. made it very hard to fill out the participant judging. And its not like they didnt have enough room, just poor direction when people were being told where to park. I entered the 1971-newer modified class. The 2 other cars in that class was a 1963 Galaxie and a 1964 Fairlane. Somehow those 2 cars took 1st and 2nd in the class and i got 3rd. Was very dissapointed that I stayed until 230pm just to see 2 cars that were registered in the wrong class get chosen over mine. And I was told I HAD to pay to participate just to park in the show area. Yet an hour later there were cars all over that did not have a show tag in their window and got to park for free.

I haven't been to the Sanderson Ford Show in years! So does the Thunderbird Club still help out or are they out of the picture now?

there was alot of tbirds there, not sure if they were helping out though. probably not because their classes were messed up. had a 55-57 tbird class with 2 in it. then all the other tbirds were in the Other Fords class i think it was. they werent too happy.

Hmmm? Then I guess they weren't helping out then? I wonder why they don't host (If that is the case)? I know some club members were getting to be "Old Birds", if you pardon the pun, in the T-Bird club. Probably ended up being too much of an undertaking for them? They use to do a terrific job hosting. It was the top Ford Show in the valley. Times a changing...
