So while my brother was out of town for 2 weeks his wife wanted me to arrange to have his 1965 Falcon painted as a surprise. Its hard to do somebody elses car when you arent totally sure wha tall they want done. So we took it to the shop. Told them that it was going to be gloss black and my brother wants some kind of stripe along the side and he would pick out the stripe color and details when he got home. So he came back to a primered and ready to paint car. We laid out a stripe on the computer that we decided would look good with the gloss black. Its almost done now. Just waiting for the owner of the shop to come back from a quick trip to color sand and polish it. These guys did a great job and were very reasonable for the job. It was painted at Julians Garage on 39th ave and north of Indian school. This is the second job they have done for me and am very happy with the price and quality. We had the gas cap shaved. the holes for the FORD letters on trunk and hood filled in. the grill painted black. Inside of doors painted black. Cant wait to see it togethor.

Did it end up costing you what you expected it would like we talked about? WE got it done for $2200 after adding the stripe and having them color sand and buff it. not bad since the original quote was $2000 and it was more work then he thought. Julian just likes working on the older cars. Would have been cheaper if we removed and reinstalled all the trim but that wasnt possible this time.
