Hi all, My name is Ron and Im a "any kind of muscle car fanatic" ;D nothing really against imports but I just like muscle cars. My main focus is "Resto-Mods", I think if you can make it better then do it plus my father always told me "half the fun in cars in building em' and the other half is beating the crap outta them until they need to be built again"
I just started my own own shop at the Goodyear Airport called Steel Horse Musclecars. I mainly focus on 1950-1969 fords (especially stangs) but so far have made a few exceptions in the form of a 57 chevy & a 74 super beetle convertable. Also I love old novas & chevelles and really early elcaminos.
FYI. - Not here to pitch my business, i build & sell these cars and do very little outside work for others but never mind giving advice or lending a hand as many have done for me.
Current Projects: 69 Mustang Fastback (being converted to a boosted mod motor) 53 Ford F100 (building an "Expendables" truck replica, w mod motor) 74 VW Super Beetle Convertable (just building it Cal style)
Daily Driver: 08 Shelby GT boosted with 10lbs boost, not a racecar just a fun daily driver that was stolen/totaled/stripped @insur lot then rebuilt at my brothers bodyshop by he & myself as his last car (RIP)

Welcome Dane, Drew and Bob. Looks like we are getting a diverse group. If these Nova guys keep popping up they may take over, lol.
BTW, If you want to post pics of your car, which you should do, post them in the projects forum so we can see what you got and you can update your thread as you make changes to your car.

Hi there, My name is Dennis. I spend my summers in Snowflake, Ariz. and my winters in Scottsdale, Ariz. I have been Hot Rodding since my High School days back in Wisconsin (many, many years ago). Now retired but still love every minute of this rewarding hobby. I currently own several different rides for fun and pleasure. Three are restored (59 Corvette, 89 corvette and a 74 AMC Gremlin), one is a 51 Ford rat rod, one is a seriously rusted Woody (I don't know why I bought that one), others include a 39 Chevy sedan that I bought 10 years ago, worked on it for about a year and a half ( 350 /350 with a Nova rear end) then put it in the corner of my shop and haven't touched it since. My current project is a 1958 Ford Ranchero. Has the original 292 and ford-a-matic (very worn out) which I am replacing with a 302/C4 setup. Thanks to the individual who started this forum. It's nice to have a Southwest USA message board. I look forward to meeting new friends and learning new things. Roadsmasher

Welcome Jamie, thats quite a variety of projects you got there.
Welcome Dennis, Looks like you have quite the fleet. Would love to see the 51 rat rod. I had to sell my 1950 2 door club coupe flathead car a few years ago. Ill have to get another shoe box someday.
Make sure you guys send your friends the link to the board. the more members the better. We get alot of traffic visiting and viewing the site but not many sign up, probably because it is new and dosnt have alot of content yet.
